Introduction
Our Ball & Hook Type Electrical Suspension Insulator is designed for medium-voltage overhead distribution and transmission applications where a compact, easy-to-install mechanical connection is preferred.
It is installed on overhead transmission poles and towers. The top hook connects to the cross-arm hardware, and the bottom ball end connects to the conductor fitting. It is mainly applied for line tensioning, corner sections and terminal tower sections. It can also be used for suspension mounting on straight line towers.
Compared with conventional ball-and-socket or clevis-and-tongue designs, the integrated hook-type end fitting provides a more direct connection to the supporting hardware, helping simplify field installation and reduce the number of connecting components.
